Thanks to its versatile shape, the Hex is suitable for both desktop/cash applications and for fixed reading points.

It features power over Ethernet (PoE) and USB interface, in order to simplify both large and small scale installation.

The power supply through Ethernet allows to supply energy and to communicate with the reader through a single cable, where a PoE infrastructure is available.

In addition to the circular polarized internal antenna, the Hex is equipped with a connector for an external antenna in order to increase the reading area and a set of GPIOs which allow to control external devices such as lights, alarms or to receive commands from external sensors.

The USB port, combined with the internal computing part, allows you to connect USB peripherals such as barcode scanners, keyboards, printers and much more, transforming the Hex into a powerful and versatile identification platform.

The reader features an easy-to-use display and keyboard interface for configuration; the behavior of the keyboard and the display can be customized according to customer requests.

The Hex is available in both European and US versions, enabling installations in many regions of the world as required by retail chains, shippers, warehouse workers and other global organizations.
